1/9/08 -- A request to the LAN team for VPN access is in the works so that the Apecs.net test server application installation can begin and training dates confirmed. -- Vicky

 

1/11/08 -- VPN connectivity established and information has been sent to the appropriate ESD parties.  LAN team working on the security groups.  Technical training scheduled for next week, tentatively.  Pension specification meetings scheduled for the week of January 21st. -- Vicky

 

2/6/08 -- Per Bruce's email:  "Just spoke with Tom Duffy and this is the status of where we are at."
 
  1. Not all data is in the database/setup.  Suresh needs to finish.
  2. Waiting on Joe and Suresh to get together/connect to work out VPN issue so Suresh may connect with VPN.          
  3. Tom has pulled up screens via the esdtestweb server.
  4.  Once Suresh finishes he will supply the instructions for connection to the apps etc.
  5.  Tom is going to work on production server setups to make certain we do not have any major issues. The only issue I know of at this time is we are getting an invalid db message with the report server db which is recorded in event manager.
  6. Tom is going to look at the db maintenance plan issue on the esdtestdb server.
  7. And then the last item I know of is Veritas backup on the production server 11d version will not recognize a new tape when inserted after the previous days backup tape is ejected. We can restart the services and then it will recognize it.   I have updated/installed all outstanding patches, but the issue still persists.  Andrew is doing the work around each day until we find an answer/solution.

 

 2/15/08 -- Veritas backup issue resolved.  An extra step was added to "Inventory" the tape prior to performing a Quick Erase on brand new tapes.  Also, Suresh is able to VPN into the servers and continue with the data conversion, effective Feb 6th. -- Vicky

 

2/29/08 -- Status meeting with ESD to discuss timeline and completed items.  Test server completion scheduled for March 17th, Local Pension scheduled for completion on June 1st and Finance Training scheduled for April 16th - 18th.  -- Vicky

 

4/18/08 -- HR/Payroll training conducted on April 17th and 18th.  Wayne of ESD conducted the two day training class.

 

4/24/08 -- Finance training conducted from April 22nd -24th.  Ravi of ESD conducted the training class.

 

05/23/08 -- HR/Payroll training Part 2 completed. -- Vicky

 

07/08/08 -- State reporting in progress and receipt for review of reports estimated to be July 21st. -- Vicky

 

07/20/08 -- ESD Conference scheduled for July 20th to July 23rd. -- Vicky
